What tool are you using to flash? Does it report success?

yes, both 1.0.0 and 0.2.0.. Meshtastic builds and functions fine on these boards but disaster-radio has the primary goal of offline mesh communications that I like and not gps pet tracking

Have you tried using one of the releases on the TTGO v2? https://github.com/sudomesh/disaster-radio/releases

The mDNS is already used ( https://github.com/sudomesh/disaster-radio/blob/a90171204ca6aa40928c36d9eae6ce6c6aa49bb7/firmware/main.ino#L161 ), but remember that the mDNS .local
resolution is not working on Android devices.

From a user UX perspective of a random person stumbling across a disaster radio node, then a captive portal is best. Since the device is the only one the person is connected to.
However if its connected to a local wifi network as one amongst many devices... something like how octopi does local broadcast DNS via https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multicast_DNS so you can access it like disasterradio.local
would be quite convenient.

fork achow101/macholib
macholib can be used to analyze and edit Mach-O headers, the executable format used by Mac OS X. It's typically used as a dependency analysis tool, and also to rewrite dylib references in Mach-O headers to be @executable_path relative. Though this tool targets a platform specific file format, it is pure python code that is platform and endian independent.

Routing tables filled with garbage after some time, maybe hardware-related?
Today I've tried to lower the CPU clock to 80 Mhz. The 2 ttgo v2 boards were running stable for several hours, exchanging beacon packets and occasional messages. As soon as I unplugged the USB cable from one of the boards, leaving it only on the battery power, the routing table was altered:
The change has been replicated on the other node as well:
Not sure if the CPU clock change was the culprit. Will try to replicate with default clock speed later.
