As a workaround, I currently have the two actions above disabled (no hotkey set) in the Material Shell settings and then change Gnome's inbuilt keyboard shortcuts for changing the workspace to the ones above.

Describe the bug I would like to use Super+, for Focus the previous workspace Super+< for Move the current window to upper workspace This is the currently what I have set in the Shortcuts tab of the settings.
The settings pane can differentiate between the two and registers them both fine. When I press Super+, I get the action for Super+< When I press Super+< (which is the same as Super+Shift+,) I get no action
This behaviour stays the same across keyboard layouts.
Expected behavior When I press Super+, I should get the action set for Super+, When I press Super+< I should get the action set for Super+<
