Dial in linphone-gui from external software

Is the a non-deprecated option as well? :) And is there a documentation for it? How does it work? I just did find the wiki page https://wiki.linphone.org/xwiki/wiki/public/view/Linphone/URI%20Handlers%20%28Desktop%20only%29/ where information about the integration in websites is given and the command line options is named. Thus I made use of the command line option...

[Feature] Configure second audio device for ring tone

It would be great to have the possibility to configure a second audio device for the ring tone. Rationale of the feature request is the fact, that I do use head phones for calls and would like to hear the ring tone both on my head phones as well as on my computer speakers.

I wrote a small shell script to let me use the callto-link from within my thunderbird (cardbook add-on) address book:

#!/bin/sh
#
# This script can be used as callto: (or other) protocol handler to initiate
# a SIP call via Linphone
LINPHONE="Linphone-4.2.3.AppImage"

# Check if one argument (phone number) is given
if [ -z $1 ]; then
    echo 'Error: argument (phone number) not provided.'
    exit 1
fi

# Cleanup destination, keeping numbers and "+" only
TO="`echo $@ | sed -e 's/[^+0123456789]//g'`"

$LINPHONE "call sip-address=$TO"

exit 0
# EOF

using the addon cardbook within Thunderbird, the address book entries so have a callto-link added automatically -- which unfortunately seem not to work with the current linphone 4.2.2 AppImage. Making that work, would be a great usability improvement.
