commit sha 6bcd2a458e74f0c33b6d5753775a63e132fa20a4

using fastrand instead of rand crate refer to http-rs/http-types#357 for reasoning, just implementing here to allow testing and validating the implementation.

commit sha a222b1d1304cf58ec344a3e7cce68d91e4f739fa

fix: avoid panic when translating from hyperium Before it always paniced on new headers while trying to blankly unwrap the return of a hashmap insert. This makes it: a. no longer unwrap at all, which was incorrect, and b. use append for duplicates The opposite direction also uses hyperium's append, but (I think) this was written before that same functionality existed in http-types.

pull request commentavinassh/fast-sqlite3-inserts

Circleci project setup

Can you not see the results at https://app.circleci.com/pipelines/github/red15/fast-sqlite3-inserts?branch=circleci-project-setup Signing up for CircleCI is just an Oauth token from your Github. No cost or real hard signup imho.

Currently the rust is failing on the threaded_batch test (might be some CI limitation on thread cpu usage) which we can sort out later (possibly splitting threaded vs basic into their own tests or reducing the record count)

I'd recommend for rust to switch to proper benchmark setup using Criterion which can properly handle the cases with and without zipcode and compare them properly.

Circleci project setup

Putting forward a simple circleci benchmark. Can still be refined further but would server as a good baseline to compare builds.
