I build an image and imported as AMI with ore. Turns out it works! There are a few failed systemd units though.

Sorry, I actually didn't use the correct flag when running the set_version script. Your command ./set_version --dev-board --board-version arm64-usr/main-nightly --dev-sdk --sdk-version sdk-main-nightly works! Thanks!

I followed the doc and run the exact below commands before entering the chroot.

cork create
cork enter

IIUC, this will use main branch and alpha release?

As shown in the attached log file. I have also run the exact set_version command as you pasted.

Thanks @pothos for the swift response!

I got errors like below when running setup_board.

!!! Error fetching binhost package info from 'https://storage.googleapis.com/flatcar-jenkins/developer/boards/arm64-usr/ arm64-usr/alpha/pkgs/'
!!! HTTP Error 404: Not Found

Enable AWS ENA kernel module for arm64

Having problem get the EC2 ARM based instances (tried both A1 and M6 instances) running. The log suggests the network is not up.

Oct 06 04:41:05 localhost ignition[902]: failed to fetch config: unable to fetch resource in time

How to use

Rebuild the AMI and launch an ARM based EC2 instance.

Testing done

Not tested.

I've tried to Follow https://docs.flatcar-linux.org/os/sdk-modifying-flatcar/ for building arm64 images, but failed at step of running the setup_board script.

feat(kubernetes): Add styling based on current context

@nomaed Your PR inspired me. I have teammates who are running your fork for a few months. It's a pity that yours was not merged in time. I modeled this one after the battery module hopefully can get accepted.

@rothgar I think your questions are for the general Kubernetes module. This PR is only tweaking the styles. To answer your questions,

  • No, kubernetes.display configurations are optional
  • Set environment KUBECONFIG to point to the file
  • Yes
  • Yes, but unreleased. You can try build master. More information please read https://github.com/starship/starship/tree/master/docs/config#kubernetes

fix(install): switch to install the musl binaries by default (#1590) We have had a few issues where users haave run the install script and have ended up with a non-functioning version of starship because their system doesn't have a required lib that we link against. To avoid these problems it seems the easiest solution is to default to using the statically compiled musl binaries. If a user knows that they are doing they can use the non-statically compiled binaries by supplying the `-p` argument to the installer. Note this is what other rust based tools such as ripgrep do.

fix(pwsh): stop paths from being interpreted as patterns (#1569) Convert-Path in the powershell prompt script works with -Path, which interprets paths as wildcard patterns. Not all valid paths are also valid wildcard patterns, possibly causing the prompt to error (eg []*). Replace it with -LiteralPath that makes Convert-Path use the path as-is.

feat(kubernetes): Add styling based on current context

<!--- Provide a general summary of your changes in the Title above --> <!--- To help with semantic versioning the PR title should start with one of the conventional commit types. --> <!--- The conventional commit types for Semantic PR are: feat, fix, docs, style, refactor, perf, test, build, ci, chore, revert -->

Description

<!--- Describe your changes in detail --> Allow granular control of styles based on current Kubernetes context name. The config is inspired by the battery module. Multiple kubernetes.display option can be added with regular expressiones to match the current kubernetes context name. Style of the first matched display option will be used for the final style.

The display option can be extended to allow matching based on context aliases or namespace names.

Motivation and Context
