Turning using the Index analog stick sometimes won't register

I also found I cannot turn when holding either of the items from my toolbelt. This was true for both Index controllers and Vive wands.

That is intentional.

Analog stick changes function when holding right hand grip. Make sure you aren't accidentally triggering the grip (can easily happen on index)

Issue during startup: could not find actions file

For anyone reading this in the future: the errors in these screenshots are all kinda supposed to happen (because I wasn't able to fix or suppress them). Moving the actions.json file to ...\Outerwilds_Data\StreamingAssets\SteamVR does make that one error go away, but that doesn't really help with anything. The real fix here is to make sure all controllers are connected when starting the game.

enabledVRDevices has an array inside it, so I can get that array like so:

var enabledVRDevices = baseField.Get("enabledVRDevices").Get(0);

If I want to change the value of the first element of the array, I do this:

This works as expected, and when I write the changes to a file I can confirm that the new value is there.

But what I need is to actually add a new value to the array, since it starts out as empty.

I tried with SetChildrenList but in the final file the array is always empty:

something .value = new AssetTypeValue(EnumValueTypes.ValueType_String, "Something");

I tried it yesterday and it only scale:s the ipd. We could allready do this before by editing the IpdOffset value in one SteamVR:s config text files. Is it possible to scale the headtracking aswell? If that worked then that would be greatly appreciated!

Strange input problems resulting in chaotic behavior

I'll reopen since it seems like it wasn't fixed for all cases (although I can confirm that it is fixed in some specific scenarios). Unlikely that I will ever try to fix this again, though, seems like there are too many scenarios where it can be triggered.

Save individual mod settings on change

Saves to file every time a setting is changed, but saves only the setting being changed. Resetting a setting means removing it from user config.

After some consideration I realized that having the selectors support string, int, and Enum types was poor design. Pretty sure this was my fault too, back when Tai was developing it, I didn't realize what the repercussions would be in the code. The game's selector inputs use strings internally, and trying to work around this limitation and converting things back and forth made the code super messy (even before these PRs). So I chose to make selectors work only with strings.
