  • Research is now contained globally, instead of per console, servers can still be used to save data.
  • Doppler arrays now report explosions to the science channel.
  • Added slime cells to xenobiology.
  • Scanner goggles now gives some info on slimes.
  • Explosions on the same level as a doppler array, tesla coils set to produce research, suduko, and slime cells add research points to specific techs.
  • Shooting any living being in a firing range will now produce research points, based on how much damage is dealt.

Explosions give: Material and Phoron Slime Cells give: Bluespace, Biological, Magnet Firing Ranges give: Combat, Biological Winning Sudoku gives: Data Tesla Coils give: Engineering, Power

I'm not sure about the numbers for all of these, but playtesting showed that they're relatively sane, but they can be tweaked after playtesting.

Dominian gear update/dresses (#9367) Adds a Dominian mercenary loadout, finishing off the main Human factions that can be represented via mercs. Also, adds two Dominian dresses to the loadout (the Dominian clothing selection) and fixes the description of the Himeo cap. The weirdest part of this PR is the 80 melee resists on the Dominian RIG. The other stats have been lowered to compensate for this (given it's meant to be a melee-centered suit) but let me know if the stats aren't to your liking, and I'll be willing to change them. The Dominian mercenary kit gets 4 voidsuits, the RIG, 4 energy cutlasses and 4 resprited energy shields. The resprite just turns them red. The solo mercenary kit gives you 1 voidsuit, a shield, a cutlass, and that's it. The RIG is below, armed and unarmed.

Dominian gear update/dresses (#9367) Adds a Dominian mercenary loadout, finishing off the main Human factions that can be represented via mercs. Also, adds two Dominian dresses to the loadout (the Dominian clothing selection) and fixes the description of the Himeo cap. The weirdest part of this PR is the 80 melee resists on the Dominian RIG. The other stats have been lowered to compensate for this (given it's meant to be a melee-centered suit) but let me know if the stats aren't to your liking, and I'll be willing to change them. The Dominian mercenary kit gets 4 voidsuits, the RIG, 4 energy cutlasses and 4 resprited energy shields. The resprite just turns them red. The solo mercenary kit gives you 1 voidsuit, a shield, a cutlass, and that's it. The RIG is below, armed and unarmed.

Replacing parts on the mining drills is ancient, locked away knowledge.

You can't replace the parts on the mining drill. RPED can be full, but you just hit the drill with it. Unscrewdriver, pop the cell, nothing. Put the cell back in, you're still wacking the RPED against the drill. Try individual parts? Nope, not going to work while you flail your arms. I tried everything to welders and multitools and was unable to upgrade my drills.

NutriMax bottles spawn empty.

The Robust Harvest, Left 4 Zed and E-Z-Nutriment bottles spawn from the vendor empty. I tested this both in hydroponics as well as in the garden.

Reagent Spawning Test Merge - Flasks from loadout spawn without certain selected reagents

Just a small issue I've noticed that's similar to the saltshakers spawning without salt, I think (though that's been sorted).

Vacuum flasks from the loadout, depending on the reagent you choose to spawn with, will spawn empty without the selected reagent. I've only noticed this for fatshouters milk (hopefully it's just this drink that fails to spawn), it works for other drinks such as Royal Jelly and Sarezhi Wine, but I haven't tested each individual drink selection to see if they all work.
